Electrically Conductive Carbon Nanotubes PP Masterbatch
ADCNT-PP MB is an advanced Electrically Conductive Carbon Nanotubes Polypropylene Masterbatch. Engineered with 15% ± 1 wt% customized carbon nanotubes in a PP matrix for uncompromising performance.
Electrical Performance
ADCNT-PP MB achieves percolation at exceptionally low loading levels, preserving the mechanical properties of the base polymer while delivering permanent conductivity.
Masterbatch Properties
Dilution of ADCNT-PP MB into neat polypropylene matrix significantly impacts the Melt Flow Index (MFI). The extreme aspect ratio of carbon nanotubes forms a structural network that restricts polymer chain mobility at lower shear rates.

Shear & Mixing Control:
Use moderate screw speed to avoid excessive shear that may shorten CNTs and reduce conductivity. Ensure uniform premixing (tumbler mixer or gravimetric dosing) to prevent streaks and insulating regions.
Handling Precautions:
Store in closed bags in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Re-seal opened bags and re-dry if needed. Minimize dust and follow CNT safety (SDS) guidelines during handling.
Application-Based Usage:
Adjust CNT loading (~3–10 wt%) based on requirement: ESD (~3%), conductive (~5%), EMI/grounding (~7–10%), ensuring optimal balance between conductivity and processability.
Processing Guidelines
Proper handling and processing are critical to achieving optimal dispersion and electrical performance. The CNT network must be established uniformly throughout the polymer matrix.
Storage & Handling
-
Store in dry, well-ventilated conditions. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Material may absorb moisture which can cause surface defects during molding.
